Wooden Towel Racks For Bathrooms

Certainly, a few bathroom towel racks in the bathroom is pretty much a standard of homes through the United States, if not the entire world. Having them in a handy place, near the tub or the washbasin, is critical to the hygiene and cleanliness of millions of families.

For now, let’s just stay in the bath and examine at some other methods you can use to incorporate more space to hang stuff and not at the expense of making your bathroom look untidy. As you know, the back of the bathroom door is a veritable wasteland of unused space. While some people add a hook or two on it to hang a bathrobe, you can take advantage of this space to add more towels or an area to dry your wet towels, bathing suit or corset lingerie.

Its easy to undestand that you would install bathroom towel bars on the back of the door. Then again, a better idea is to install them on the wall instead. This does a couple things. Firstly, it does not serve as a weight adder to the door. A number of towel bars for bathrooms with wet garments or towels on them can put additional unnecessary weight on the door and this extra load could make it hard for the children in your household to open the door. Installation can be a problem as well, as numerous doors have a hollow center, and thus lacking the hard pointes which are essential for installation of the hardware and screws.

You can also use them to complete the air-drying of your nylons, tights or leggings. This is pretty handy as we all know that it can be quite embarassing for one to hang all these garments out in the bathroom or laundry room and displayed for all to see. By placing bathroom towel racks for small bathrooms in the closet, they can be out of sight and out of mind until they finish drying so they can be put away.

On the other hand, the wall is an ideal place for installation and its much easier to find the needed hardware to install the towel bars to the wall. Just be sure that the region behind the door has enough space so you can open the door fully. You don’t want one end of the rack (or racks) to stick out too far, preventing the door from having its full range of motion. Also, there is no harm in installing more than one rack to the space to get more storage out of it.

Bathroom towel racks are also very useful in the bedroom, or to be precise, the dresser. You can mount towel racks in the closet and put them to good use. You can use them to organize your scarves, belts, ties… what have you. They can even be utilized to hang your bigger pieces of jewellery , jewellery that are simply taking too much space of your jewelry box.
